Role Overview
We are looking for a senior Director – Capital Projects & Infrastructure / Engineering Advisory professional with strong experience in capital project management, engineering, construction, and advisory services.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of consulting and industry experience, with a strong understanding of managing large-scale capital projects and delivering advisory solutions to clients across the construction, infrastructure, engineering, and real estate sectors.
Candidates who have started their careers in consulting and subsequently moved into industry—or have a combination of industry and consulting experience—would be particularly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage capital projects and engineering advisory engagements from inception through delivery.
- Provide strategic and operational advisory to clients on project optimization, cost optimization, project execution, and technology implementation.
- Drive business development, identify new client opportunities, and contribute to proposals and solution development.
- Develop and maintain strong senior-level client relationships.
- Lead project delivery through multidisciplinary teams and ensure successful execution of engagements.
- Provide subject-matter expertise across engineering, construction, infrastructure, and capital project management.
- Identify opportunities to improve project performance, timelines, costs, quality, and overall delivery effectiveness.
- Support clients in evaluating and implementing relevant digital construction technologies and tools.
- Work closely with internal teams and clients to develop practical, scalable solutions for complex project challenges.
- Lead and mentor project teams and contribute to the growth of the advisory practice.
Core Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Capital Projects / Capital Project Management.
- Proven expertise in Engineering, Construction, Infrastructure, or Real Estate projects.
- Strong Project Management and Project Delivery experience.
- Experience in Engineering / Capital Projects Advisory or Consulting.
- Demonstrated Business Development and client relationship management experience.
- Ability to lead large teams and complex client engagements.
- Experience in project optimization and cost optimization.
- Exposure to digital technologies used within the construction industry.
Digital / Construction Technology Exposure
Relevant exposure could include construction and engineering technologies such as:
- AutoCAD and related engineering/design tools
- Robotics in construction
- Digital construction/project management tools
- Other technology platforms used for construction, engineering, and capital project delivery
Note: Exposure to SAP, ERP, or general enterprise applications is not the primary requirement. The focus is specifically on construction and engineering-related digital technologies.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate would demonstrate:
- 12–13+ years of overall relevant experience.
- Strong pedigree in consulting, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or capital projects.
- A combination of consulting + industry experience is highly preferred.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proven track record in BD + consulting delivery + project execution.
- Ability to operate at a senior leadership level and independently manage client relationships.
- Exposure to both Indian and international projects is acceptable; some understanding/experience of the Indian market is preferred.
