Employer confidence is at a 16-year high. India's Net Employment Outlook hit 68% — the strongest reading since the survey began in 2008, and the highest of any country surveyed.
GCCs out-hired IT services again. GCCs added roughly 200,000 net employees in FY26 — almost twice what IT services firms added — across 2,117 centres, at a 10.4% salary premium.
AI skill supply is now the binding constraint. Talent scarcity reached 82%; India faces a 53% AI skills deficit, with roughly one qualified engineer for every ten GenAI roles.
