Employer of Record · India

Hire in India this quarter, with no entity and no minimums.

We find them, we employ them, you direct them. Recruise recruits the person in India and puts them on our payroll, so a hiring manager can start with one role and no board paper.

Each role is fully loaded and priced in USD, with no setup fee.

No Indian entity needed
Mandate to a person at a desk
15 to 30 days
Where This Fits

Three situations where US companies bring us in.

Payroll-only EOR platforms employ someone you have already found. We recruit the person first and then employ them, so the search and the employment sit in one contract with one firm.

CHRO · Head of Talent
Backfills frozen at home and routed to India
Headcount is frozen and backfills are being approved for India one role at a time. Each person gets their own statement of work, so the first hire can start alone. When the next role is approved you add it, and nothing in the agreement is renegotiated.
CFO
A few India contractors paid through vendors or as 1099s
People in India paid as contractors leave a misclassification question open. Everyone we place is an employee on our payroll in India, and we handle Provident Fund, ESI, gratuity, professional tax and TDS. Billing is monthly, with payment due in 30 days.
CTO · VP Engineering
Three engineers this quarter, without a board paper
A hiring manager can start with one role. We map the market, price the role and run the search, and the person is at a desk 15 to 30 days after the mandate. Your team runs the final interviews and makes the decision.
How It Works

One MSA, then one SOW for each person.

You sign a master services agreement once. It covers confidentiality, data protection, IP, liability and termination. Each hire then gets a statement of work that names the person, the rate, the dates and the job description, on a six- or twelve-month term.

Stage 01 · Map
Day 0–3
Map the role
We pressure-test the brief, benchmark the pay and build a talent map of where the people you need work today.
Stage 02 · Price
Day 3–5
Price it in USD
You get a fully loaded costing for the role. When you approve it, that role's SOW is signed.
Stage 03 · Search
Day 5–25
Search and select
Direct search, screening and technical panels with scorecards. You run the final interviews and decide. We handle the offer, the negotiation and any notice-period buyout.
Stage 04 · Onboard
Day 15–30
Onboard
We issue the employment contract, supply the laptop and complete background screening before the start date. You set up access to your systems.
The Terms

The terms you can start on with one role.

Each role is fully loaded and priced in USD. The rate covers salary, statutory contributions, buyout, search, onboarding, payroll and account management. A laptop, an office seat if you want one and a shift premium for US Eastern hours are itemised separately. Billing is monthly, with payment due in 30 days.

  • No minimums

No minimum headcount, no minimum spend and no setup fee. Start with one role and add the next when it comes.

  • 30-day exit

End any SOW with thirty days' written notice at any point. There is no early-termination fee.

  • Replacement at no extra search fee

If someone is not working out, we serve notice, run the replacement search in parallel and recruit the replacement at no additional search fee.

  • 10% to convert

Move someone onto your own payroll during or after the SOW for 10% of that person's annual CTC, which is their India package.

  • IP assigned to you

Rights in the work product vest in you as it is created. We assign them and have each person assign them under the MSA, subject to fees being paid.

  • Six- or twelve-month SOWs

Each person has their own SOW with a six- or twelve-month term, so roles start and end on their own dates.

The One-Pager

Download the one-pager: terms, process and indicative costs.

One A4 page you can forward to finance or legal. It sets out the terms above, the four stages from mandate to desk, who does what, and indicative fully loaded costs in USD for six common roles in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Frequently Asked

Questions US buyers ask us.

If your question is not here, email riya@recruiseglobal.com or use the form below to reach our business development team.

Who is the legal employer?
Recruise is. The person signs an employment contract with Recruise India Consulting Pvt Ltd, which runs their payroll and all Indian statutory compliance, including Provident Fund, ESI, gratuity, professional tax and TDS. Your company signs the master services agreement and each statement of work with Recruise India Consulting Pvt Ltd, and directs the work day to day.
Can we end it if it is not working?
Yes. You can end any SOW with thirty days' written notice at any point, and there is no early-termination fee. If the problem is the person, we serve notice, run the replacement search in parallel and recruit the replacement at no additional search fee.
Can we hire them onto our own payroll later?
Yes. You can move someone onto your own payroll during or after the SOW for 10% of that person's annual CTC, meaning their India package. If you later set up your own team or centre in India, the people already working with you can move across on those terms.
Where do people work?
Remotely, from a managed seat near home, or from our offices in Bengaluru or Hyderabad. We recruit across India, and in every case the person works inside your systems on a company laptop we supply.
How is it priced?
We price each role on its own, fully loaded, in USD. The rate includes salary, statutory contributions, buyout, search, onboarding, payroll and account management. A laptop, an office seat and a shift premium for US Eastern hours are itemised separately, and there is no setup fee. Send us the role and we will cost it.
