What you'll find here

  1. Considered positions, not hot takes. Each piece makes one argument and stands behind it.
  2. Written from the placement record, so the opinions are grounded in what we actually see, not market gossip.
  3. Board-ready. The kind of read a CHRO or GCC head can take into a leadership conversation.

01

Why we publish opinions at all.

Plenty of firms publish data and stop there, because a number is safe and a position is not. We think the more useful thing, and the harder one, is to say what the data means and what we'd do about it. A benchmark tells you where the market is. A perspective tells you where we think it's going and why that should change your next decision.

Every piece here is one argument, taken seriously and defended. We'd rather be clear and occasionally wrong than vague and never accountable. When we change our mind, we'll say that too.

02

Grounded in the placement record, not the noise.

The difference between a perspective worth reading and a hot take is where it comes from. Ours come from the same place our intelligence does: thousands of senior searches, twelve-month outcomes, and the conversations candidates have with us before they move. That's a narrower lens than the whole market, and a far more honest one.

So when we take a position on comp, leadership, or where hiring is heading, it's an argument we've watched play out across real mandates, not one we read somewhere and repackaged. That's the only kind of opinion we think is worth your time.

"A firm that only publishes data is hiding behind it. The useful thing, and the riskier one, is to say what you think it means."

Frequently asked

Questions on Perspectives.

What Recruise Perspectives are, and who they are written for.

What is Recruise Perspectives?
Perspectives is where Recruise argues a clear position on the GCC market, the kind of read a CHRO or GCC head can take into a leadership conversation. Each piece is grounded in what we see placing senior leaders, rather than commentary from the sidelines.
How is a Perspective different from a market report?
A report tells you what the numbers are. A Perspective tells you what we think they mean and what to do about it. It takes a side. The value is the argument and the judgment behind it, drawn from work in the market rather than a survey of it.
Who are Perspectives written for?
Senior talent and business leaders making real decisions: CHROs, heads of TA, GCC heads, and founders. The test for each piece is whether it helps that reader think more clearly about a decision they actually face, rather than whether it sounds authoritative.
