Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams (50–150+ engineers through managers)
Drive engineering strategy aligned with company product roadmap
Build a strong engineering culture focused on innovation, ownership, and excellence
Manage Engineering Managers, Architects, and Principal Engineers

Technical Strategy & Architecture

Drive architecture decisions for cloud-native SaaS platforms
Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of systems
Guide modernization initiatives, platform evolution, and technical debt reduction
Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and DevOps teams

Delivery & Execution

Own engineering delivery, roadmap execution, and release planning
Ensure predictable delivery, high quality, and operational excellence
Implement best practices in SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies

Stakeholder Management

Partner with global product leadership, business stakeholders, and customers
Provide executive-level reporting on engineering metrics and delivery
Participate in strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives

Operational Excellence

Establish engineering KPIs, metrics, and performance frameworks
Drive automation, observability, and reliability engineering practices
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

15+ years of engineering experience in product-based companies
5+ years in engineering leadership roles managing managers
Proven experience leading large distributed engineering teams
Strong background in SaaS product engineering

Technical Expertise

Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP
Microservices architecture
Enterprise SaaS platform development
Distributed systems
DevOps, CI/CD, automation

Leadership Skills

Experience scaling global engineering teams
Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills
