Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams (50–150+ engineers through managers)

• Drive engineering strategy aligned with company product roadmap

• Build a strong engineering culture focused on innovation, ownership, and excellence

• Manage Engineering Managers, Architects, and Principal Engineers

Technical Strategy & Architecture

• Drive architecture decisions for cloud-native SaaS platforms

• Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of systems

• Guide modernization initiatives, platform evolution, and technical debt reduction

• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and DevOps teams

Delivery & Execution

• Own engineering delivery, roadmap execution, and release planning

• Ensure predictable delivery, high quality, and operational excellence

• Implement best practices in SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with global product leadership, business stakeholders, and customers

• Provide executive-level reporting on engineering metrics and delivery

• Participate in strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives

Operational Excellence

• Establish engineering KPIs, metrics, and performance frameworks

• Drive automation, observability, and reliability engineering practices

• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering experience in product-based companies

• 5+ years in engineering leadership roles managing managers

• Proven experience leading large distributed engineering teams

• Strong background in SaaS product engineering

Technical Expertise

• Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP

• Microservices architecture

• Enterprise SaaS platform development

• Distributed systems

• DevOps, CI/CD, automation

Leadership Skills

• Experience scaling global engineering teams
