Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled ASP.NET MVC / Web API Developer with 5–8 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and modern software development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET MVC and C#.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, and development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Develop and maintain database objects, including stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.
- Work effectively within Agile/Scrum development environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in software development.
- Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API.
- Experience with .NET Framework 4.x.
- Solid understanding of REST API design principles.
- Knowledge of Dependency Injection (DI) and the Repository Pattern.
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles and object-oriented design patterns.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience developing Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, and Indexes.
- Experience with SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and AJAX.
- Experience using GitHub for source control.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ASP.NET Core.
- Experience with Microservices Architecture.
- Knowledge of Entity Framework.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs.
- Experience with AWS services, including EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
- Basic understanding of cloud-hosted applications.
- Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
