RESPONSIBILITIES
- Loss Mitigation & Workout Strategy: Analyze borrower financial documentation to determine eligibility for retention (loan modification, forbearance) or liquidation (short sale, deed-in-lieu) alternatives to foreclosure.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all loss mitigation actions are compliant with US Regulatory Bodies focusing on the Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) methodology.
- Utilize Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment to perform risk, financial and data analyses including profiling, sampling, forecasting and new program due diligence
- Data Analysis (SAS): Utilize SAS to analyze loan portfolios, identify credit risks, monitor early policy terminations, and perform predictive modeling for bad debt recovery.
- Risk Mitigation & Reporting: Identify and report on Portfolio Risk to senior management. Ensure compliance with FFIEC BSA/AML guidelines regarding high-risk accounts.
- Negotiation & Compliance: Negotiate with borrowers while ensuring all actions adhere to FDCPA, investor guidelines, and internal policies.
