Reliability Engineer
Hyderabad Full-time Pharmaceuticals & Biotech Senior
The role will be responsible for improving equipment reliability, uptime, and maintenance performance across pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The person should have strong experience in reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, rotating equipment, and root cause analysis.
Key responsibilities/experience areas:
* BS in Engineering (Mechanical strongly preferred) typically found in pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Reliability engineering and predictive maintenance
- Rotating equipment – pumps, motors, compressors, gearboxes, etc.
- Vibration monitoring and analysis
- Thermography, motor current analysis and ultrasonic testing
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving
- Equipment lifecycle cost and reliability improvement
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing engineering
- Engineering/design review with EPC, architectural and engineering firms
- Project management and leading internal/external engineering teams
- Equipment uptime, maintenance optimization and failure prevention
