QA Engineer

•                     Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.

•                     Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing to ensure product quality.

•                     Work closely with developers and product teams to identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Trello or ClickUp.

•                     Implement and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

•                     Conduct API testing (using Postman or similar tools) to validate data and backend integration.

•                     Participate in sprint planning, ensuring QA readiness and test coverage before releases.

•                     Execute performance and usability testing to identify bottlenecks or inconsistencies.

•                     Collaborate in a CI/CD environment to integrate automated tests into the deployment pipeline.

•                     Prepare detailed QA reports and ensure compliance with internal quality metrics.

 

Required Skills

•                     Manual Testing: Test case design, execution, bug reporting, regression, smoke, and sanity testing

•                     Automation Testing: Selenium with Java/Python/JS, or equivalent automation tools

•                     API Testing: Postman, Newman, Swagger

•                     Test Management: JIRA, Trello, or similar bug-tracking tools

•                     Version Control: Git/GitHub

•                     Understanding of: Agile/Scrum processes, SDLC, and defect life cycle

•                     Good to Have: Knowledge of SQL, basic scripting, and browser debugging tools
