Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Director to lead and grow our Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) practice. The ideal candidate will bring strong consulting experience, deep technical expertise in GRC domains, and a proven track record of leading client engagements, managing teams, and contributing to business growth.

This is a client-facing leadership role that will work closely with domestic clients and support international/network firm initiatives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering strategic engagements, developing new business opportunities, and mentoring future leaders within the practice.


Key Responsibilities

Client Delivery & Leadership

  • Lead complex consulting engagements across Governance, Risk & Compliance domains.
  • Advise clients on risk management, governance frameworks, controls, and compliance programs.
  • Manage end-to-end engagement delivery while ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Drive solution development aligned with client business objectives.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts.
  • Support proposal development, presentations, and client pitches.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Contribute to market building and practice growth initiatives.
  • Participate in developing new service offerings and go-to-market strategies.

Team & Practice Development

  • Mentor and coach managers and consultants.
  • Build high-performing teams and foster a strong consulting culture.
  • Support recruitment and talent development initiatives.
  • Drive knowledge sharing and capability-building across the practice.

International Collaboration

  • Work closely with network firms and international teams on cross-border engagements and strategic initiatives.
  • Support domestic as well as international project opportunities.
  • Contribute to the growth and visibility of the practice globally.

Required Experience

Professional Experience

  • Approximately 12-15 years of relevant consulting experience, with progression to Senior Manager or Director level.
  • Demonstrated experience managing client engagements and leading teams.
  • Proven exposure to business development, proposal creation, and client acquisition activities.
  • Experience working in consulting firms is strongly preferred, including Big 4 or other established consulting/advisory firms.

Domain Expertise

Strong experience across one or more of the following areas:

  • Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
  • Internal Audit
  • Internal Controls
  • Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
  • Risk Consulting
  • Regulatory Compliance Programs
  • Corporate Governance Frameworks

Sector Experience

  • Industry experience across diverse sectors is welcome.
  • Oil & Gas experience will be considered an advantage.
  • Candidates primarily focused on Financial Services or Telecom sectors may be less aligned with the requirement.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.

Considered

  • MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification may be considered where supported by strong relevant consulting and GRC experience.

  • Primarily office/client-facing role.

  • Travel flexibility is expected.
  • This role is not intended to be a fully remote or predominantly hybrid position due to the leadership and client engagement nature of the role.
