Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Our client — a high-growth fintech GCC scaling its India centre into a global product hub — is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to anchor the model platform behind fraud, risk and underwriting decisions made millions of times a day.
This is a deep-technical leadership seat. You'll set the standard for how models are built, served and monitored across the centre, and mentor a growing bench of ML and platform engineers.
What you'll own
- The feature platform and the path from notebook to low-latency production inference.
- Model quality, drift detection and the on-call posture for revenue-critical pipelines.
- Architecture reviews and the technical bar for the wider ML org.
What we're looking for
- 8+ years building ML systems in production, with real ownership of serving infrastructure.
- Fluency in Python and at least one of PyTorch / TensorFlow, plus strong systems instincts.
- Experience operating at scale in a regulated domain (payments, lending, or similar) is a strong plus.
This role sits on-site in Bengaluru with the core platform team.
