A global retail GCC is consolidating its analytics estate onto a single lakehouse and needs a Senior Data Engineer to build the streaming and batch backbone that unifies data across 14 markets.
What the work looks like
- Design and own ingestion pipelines (Kafka / Spark) feeding a Delta-style lakehouse.
- Model data for both real-time merchandising and downstream BI.
- Set the patterns for data quality, lineage and cost control.
What we'd love to see
- 5+ years in data engineering with strong SQL and one of Python / Scala.
- Hands-on with a modern stack — Spark, Kafka, dbt, and a cloud warehouse.
- Comfort owning pipelines end-to-end in a large, multi-market environment.
